Scotiabank realized there was a strong consumer demand for retirement products with investment options that could be accessed through retail bank branches in Jamaica. Thus, they came up with a safe and secure retirement policy that, when combined with a long-term savings and investment plan, would leverage wealth over time.

THE ASK & OUTCOME

BrandProfit created the name “ScotiaBRIDGE” & designed its signature red bridge iconic mark. We also prepared all internal communication pieces plus in-branch and outdoor branding. As part of an island wide teaser campaign, we placed abstract yet relevant messages in public spaces and gradually revealed the name and nature of the product. This kept the public’s interest engaged and created the desired buzz.

ScotiaBRIDGE was launched using traditional media and a mini-website to educate the general public about the importance of a comfortable retirement. The brand identity was projected to the target audience in a powerful way, thus contributing to a successful product launch. Shortly after its roll-out, the subscription numbers exceeded expectations and ScotiaBRIDGE surpassed its initial target for attracting new subscribers.
